Must-Haves
- 4-6 ans channel experience (reseller, partner ecosystem)
- Partner recruitment & enablement
- Indirect sales understanding (different than direct)
- Relationship management (long-term partnerships)
- P&L accountability (manage partner revenue)
2. Channel Sales Cycles
Partner onboarding : 2-3 months (training, enablement)
Partner ramp : 6-12 months (productivity)
Deal cycles : Dépend du partner (SDR, AE, etc.)
3. Compensation Channel Manager
OTE : €50-75k
Structure : 70-80% fixe, 20-30% variable (partner commission)
Responsibility : Partner revenue, partner health, partner growth
4. Red Flags
- No partner ecosystem experience
- Only direct sales background
- Can't manage multiple stakeholders
